"My First" Magformers Review and Giveaway
Magformers has just increased their fun factor by releasing a great new line of their amazing toy. The "My First" line is geared towards preschool children. The full "My First" line is now available on the Magformers site.
My kids got to try the 54 piece set; it includes a nice variety of shapes in 5 bright opaque colours.
We were very pleased to discover that the new line includes the same strong, fully embedded magnets as the regular Magformers . So they can be combined with the original sets, for hours of entertainmemt
The "My First" 54 piece set comes with:
The set also includes a big set of play cards! The 29 different cards are geared towards a range of abilities and skills. They start with teaching colours, shapes, names of fruits and animals. Some sheets have cutouts for children to place the corresponding piece in. The more complex sheets provide an image of a finished product for the child to build. The cards help work on many great skills helping children develop form constancy, visual figure ground, visual sequencing, visual closure as well as spacial awareness.
My girls spent hours already playing with this set. They love the strength of the magnets, which allows for them to transport their buildings and build great 3 dimensional structures.
I also have one of these great sets to give away to one of my readers.
Disclosure- I received the items reviewed as a free sample. No monetary compensation was provided. My participation was completely voluntary. All opinions are completely my own.
